Beacon Soccer Club is proud to announce the opening of Registration for our 2020-21 Recreational Leagues.
Beacon Soccer Club offers Recreation league play for players at all skill levels. Whether you're new to the sport, looking to get some extra play time, or just want some extra family fun on the calendar - BSC's Recreational Leagues are the place to play. All our Recreation Leagues take place over two eight-week legs (Fall and Spring), with an extended Winter Break.
Our Leagues:
Mini Division
Ages 4 & 5 (Birth Years 2015 & 2016)
Jr. PeeWee Division
Ages 6 & 7 (Birth years 2013 & 2014)
PeeWee Division
Ages 8 - 10 (Birth Years 2010, 2011, & 2012)
Intermediate Division
Ages 11 - 14 (Birth Years 2006, 2007, 2008, & 2009)
Registration will remain open until all teams have been filled, or on August 19, whichever comes earlier. The number of Teams may be reduced from prior years across all recreational leagues to allow for appropriate distancing - so register today and don't get locked out!
The Fall Leg of our 2020-21 Season will run from September 26 through November 14. We are expanding our Rec Schedule to allow for staggered kickoff times, and expanded playing hours for our weekly Saturday Gamedays. For the first time, Rec Leagues will also have occasional "under the lights" weekday games. These scheduling enhancements will allow BSC to provide the maximum amount of Soccer while conforming to the C19 Guidelines established by our governing bodies (Eastern New York Youth Soccer Leagues, and US Soccer). To allow for proper distancing at Kerr and the surrounding fields at Sargent School, no more than four games will be played at one time, including on a new pitch for the 2020-21 season.
In addition to Team Games and Practices, Beacon Soccer Club is proud to continue our Partnership with Coerver Coaching to provide supplemental skills training sessions with professional coaches weekly throughout our Season. There is no additional fee for these professional training sessions - it's all included for Rec League Teams and Players.
All Registration Fees have been frozen from prior seasons to help keep costs low for our families during these changing times. We have also introduced a 3-installment payment plan for families who would like to spread the cost of Registration over time.
